A short haul with real mountain judgment
From Gardner, delivery to La Veta is under an hour: down CO-69, a short run west on US-160, then into town or up CO-12. The distance is trivial. The judgment is in the last leg, because mountain lots come with grades, tight trees, and driveways that were cut for pickups rather than trucks carrying a cabin. We scout every site in person. Some Cuchara-area lots take a full-width cabin easily, some need a narrower model, and a few are honest no's. You will know which yours is before you spend anything.

Can you deliver a cabin up CO-12 to Cuchara?
Frequently, yes. CO-12 itself is a paved state highway and the climb to Cuchara is well within what our truck handles. The deciding factor is your driveway and lot: grade, turns, tree clearance, and where the pad sits. We scout it before you commit. When a site cannot take a full-width cabin, we will tell you straight and go over narrower options.
Do the same county rules apply in La Veta as in Gardner?
Both are in Huerfano County, so the county-level rules are the same ones we deal with at home, though the town of La Veta has its own say inside town limits. Classification still drives everything: park model RV, modular, or skid. We help you sort out which authority applies to your parcel and what to ask them before ordering.
Can you deliver in winter at this altitude?
Sometimes, and we are honest about when. A dry-road window in a La Veta winter is common enough, but a snowed-in mountain driveway is not a place to force a wide load.
