The Moose Creek is a portable cabin we build in Gardner, Colorado, sized at 12'6" by 28' with 22 feet of cabin and a 6-foot covered porch. Hand-hewn Adirondack siding gives it a traditional log look, while the inside stays modern: a bunk room for the kids, a small kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, and space for a hide-a-bed sofa in the main room. The bunk room is what makes the Moose Creek work for families. The kids get their own space with real beds, and the main room stays open for the adults. The Moose Creek wears hand-hewn Adirondack siding, so from the driveway it reads as a traditional log cabin. Inside, the layout is modern: an open main room, a compact kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower where you'd want it. That mix is the point. You get the look people picture when they say the word cabin, without giving up the way people actually live in one. The 22-foot cabin body keeps every inch working, and the porch adds outdoor living space that doesn't count against the interior.

Every Moose Creek starts as a drawing you approve before we cut a single board. If you want the bunk room configured differently, the kitchenette expanded, or the porch reworked, we adjust the plan until it fits how your family will use it. The build itself follows our standard spec: spray foam insulation, lifetime decking on the porch, and solid surface countertops. And like every model we build, the Moose Creek is available as a park model RV, a modular build, or a skid cabin, depending on where it's going and how it will sit.

Can the bunk room be changed into something else?
Yes. Every Moose Creek is fully customizable, and the bunk room is a common spot to adjust. Some buyers want more bunks, others want storage or a bigger kitchenette instead. You approve the full drawing before we build, so the change gets settled on paper at the planning stage rather than mid-build.
Should I order the Moose Creek as a park model RV, modular, or skid cabin?
It depends on where the cabin will sit. Park model RV suits campgrounds and recreational placement, modular suits a permanent foundation, and a skid cabin suits ground you may want to move it around on. The floor plan stays the same either way; check with your county on what your parcel requires before deciding.
How many people can sleep in the Moose Creek?
The bunk room sleeps the kids, and the main room has space for a hide-a-bed sofa that adds two more. How many bunks fit depends on the configuration you choose at the drawing stage. It's a compact cabin, so we'd call it honest sleeping for a family rather than a bunkhouse for a crowd.

We build the entire cabin at our shop in Gardner, Colorado, then deliver it complete to your site across southern Colorado and the Front Range. It travels as a single load. We go over site access with you before the build starts so the delivery plan is set early, with no surprises on delivery day.
