Why end-matched boards matter
End-matched boards have tongue and groove milled on the ends as well as the edges. That means a joint can land anywhere on the wall, not only on a stud or furring strip, and the next board locks into it. You waste less lumber, you spend less time measuring cuts, and butt joints stay tight instead of opening up as the wood moves through Colorado's dry winters. It is the single biggest reason first-time installers finish a room and are happy with it. Every paneling profile we stock is end-matched.
Choosing between pine, cedar, barnwood, and aspen
Knotty pine is the default cabin board for a reason: warm color, visible knots, and three widths to work with. Cedar brings its own scent and deeper color range, and many customers use it in bedrooms and closets. Barnwood gives you the weathered look without tearing down a barn, and the pre-finished option means the wall is done the day it goes up. Aspen is the quiet one: pale, fine-grained, and good where you want light rather than pattern. If you are unsure, come look at full boards in the yard rather than judging from photos.
How ordering works
There is no online checkout and we prefer it that way. Call us, tell us about the room or the whole build, and we will work out widths, species, and quantities with you, including overage for cuts. DIY builders and contractors both buy from us, and the questions are usually the same either way. Pick up at the yard in Gardner, or talk to us about delivery when you call.

What does end-matched paneling mean?
End-matched boards have tongue and groove on the ends as well as the long edges, so end joints lock together and can fall anywhere on the wall instead of landing on a stud. That cuts waste and installation time, which is why every paneling profile we sell comes end-matched.
Which paneling species should I choose?
It comes down to the look you want. Knotty pine is the traditional cabin board, cedar adds aroma and deeper color, barnwood gives a weathered finish and comes pre-finished or unfinished, and aspen stays light and subtle. We use these same materials in our own cabin builds, so we can show you each one installed.
Do you ship paneling?
Most customers pick up at our yard in Gardner, Colorado. Delivery can sometimes be arranged depending on where you are and how much material you need, so call us with your location and quantity and we will figure out the best option together.
Do you sell paneling to contractors?
Yes. We sell to both DIY builders and contractors, and there is no account setup or minimum hoop to jump through. Call with your board footage and widths and we will confirm what is on hand, or talk through lead time for larger orders.
